Ciao a tutti,
I'm Italian and I collect steel helmets. As a boy, in the seventies, I found my first steel helmet on the Gothic Line and from there I started my collection. It is very interesting to try to reconstruct the history of a steel helmet and this web site is very useful for a collector. Thank you and congratulations Leo |

Benvenuti, Leo! Qual è il tema della tua collezione? Paese, ora, tipo di caschi ... ? (Non esitate a farci vedere le foto). Ad esempio, il casco acciaio sui miei scaffali è una minoranza (25%) ... perché mi piace particolarmente elmi dei vigili del fuoco, protezione civile, parachutites, ecc!

Eric Ho una, modesta, collezione di elmetti in acciaio del secolo scorso, alcuni trovati altri comprati, sia della prima che della seconda guerra. Comunque anche io ho due elmetti svizzeri dei vigili del fuoco, si tratta del modello 18/40. Complimenti per l'ottimo italiano. |

I guess it will be easier to go on in english... So you "have a modest collection of steel helmets of the last century, found some and bought others, both first and second war. However, even two Swiss helmets of fire brigade, model 18/40" We are looking forward to see them and know their "history" !
